Product Description

One of the routine procedures for diagnosing diseases is to collect, safely transport and dilute clinical specimens. This can be achieved with Babio® Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS)). The liquid is non-nutritive, so that the transported specimen can be stored for a long time in a non-nutritive state. The phosphate in the liquid acts as a buffer. Sodium chloride and potassium chloride maintain the osmotic pressure balance of the liquid and regulate the permeability of biological cell membranes.

Operating procedures

1. Wear gloves and protective clothing.
2.Collect specimens with swabs, such as nasopharyngeal swabs and oropharyngeal swabs.
3.Remove the cap from the tube and insert the swab into the tube with media
4.Break the swab shaft by evenly bending the swab shaft onto the tube wall on the pre- component line.
5.Replace the cap on the tube and close it tightly.
6.Appropriate patient information on the label, immediately sent to the laboratory for analysis
