Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Mercury Analyzer – VJ Series F732


The VJ Series F732 Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Mercury Analyzer is a high-precision analytical instrument designed for the quantitative detection of trace mercury (Hg) in liquid, gas, and solid samples. Manufactured by Babio Biotechnology, a leading scientific instrument developer in China, this cold vapor AAS system delivers reliable results for laboratories conducting environmental testing, drinking water analysis, and mercury contamination assessment.

Utilizing the cold vapor atomic absorption spectrometry (CV-AAS) principle, the F732 mercury analyzer detects mercury concentrations by measuring the absorbance of UV light at 253.7 nm, in full accordance with Lambert-Beer’s Law. The system features a built-in computing unit and a large LCD display for real-time data visualization and result interpretation.

This low-level mercury analyzer uses stannous chloride (SnCl₂) as a reducing agent to convert mercury ions into elemental mercury vapor. The vapor is then transported into the absorption cell by a circulation pump for quantification. The system's RS-232C serial interface allows for seamless data export and integration into LIMS or external PCs.
